California blend veggie quiche with buttermilk
You will need:
Preheat your oven to 375 F
One prepared pie crust
4 eggs beaten
1 and 1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 yellow onion chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 and a half cups California blend frozen veggies prepared according to package directions and dished. Sauté them a bit with the onions.
In a medium size bowl whisk the eggs and mix the buttermilk in. Add the minced garlic and marjoram and oregano and mix well.
When the pie crust is fully prepared, add a layer of onions on the bottom then veggies then some shredded cheese and then the egg and buttermilk mixture and then the rest of the shredded cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes and take out if the oven. Let cool for five minutes before serving.
