Instant pot Chicken, applesauce and potatoes

You will need an instant pot and an air fryer

Five boneless skinless chicken thighs

Eight Yukon gold potatoes quartered (in a medium bowl add the potatoes with one tablespoon olive oil to coat and salt and pepper to taste) cook them in the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.

While the potatoes are cooking add in the instant pot 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/2 cup of applesauce, 2 large shallots diced. Add the trivet and add the five chicken thighs. Pressure cook manual high for 8 minutes for fresh or 12 minutes for frozen. Allow pressure cooker to release naturally for five minutes. Remove the chicken from the trivet and add the potatoes. Incorporating well. Switch the settings to slow cooker and cook in the sauce for 15 minutes.
